I Octane to sue producer Arthur Wale of Free Willy Music
I-Octane is now fuming and threatening a lawsuit after a song he recorded as a demo for Bounty Killer was released under his name.
"I am upset," the artiste said.
I-Octane, who is known for his cultural songs, said he recorded the demo, Woman Mi Seh, for producer Arthur Wale of Free Willy Music so it could be given to Bounty Killer.
"So mi write the song, demo it and bring it go give Bounty 'roun Courtleigh. Mi write the song in the form of Bounty 'cause certain things don't fit. Mi keep mi thing as clean as possible. Mi write the song how Killer woulda sound and five months after the man put out the song under my name," he told THE STAR.
In the demo, I-Octane, who on numerous occasions said he does not drink alcohol, says, "When mi a party and a drink Hennessy/ Tell har seh mi caan tame/ Man a gyalis from before mi start drive Range/ Ova da body ya woman a gwaan bad out a road/ bruk fight and fling stab out a road."
Beef with producer
The artiste said he got even more upset when he called the producer.
"Mi call di man and him seh if mi waan vex, mi vex. Him seh look how long him ask mi fi voice fi him and mi a go round him," he said. Read full story here...
