Greensleeves Records started out as a record shop in november 1975 in West Ealing, London England.


In 1977 it was moved to Shepherd Bush in London. Greensleeves has since setup offices in Isleworth, Middlesex and New York.

The label was started with two 7" singles. These are where is Jah and Born for a Purpose.

By 1998 what started out as a record shop was now a growing record label. The first album released on this label was Alimantado "Best Dressed Chicken In Town".

Two of the first top reggae act to work with this label are Augustos Pablo and Barrington Levy.

Greensleeves has and continue to work with artiste such as Red Rat, Sizzla, Black Uhuru, Shaggy, The late Dennis Brown, Diamonds, Gregory Isaacs, Cocoa Tea, Shabba Ranks among many others.

This label is one of dancehall and reggaes music top distributor.

As always it keeps its eyes firmly on the future and look forward to introducing the world next generation of artists and
producers

In 2011 the Record shop/Label celebrated its 6th anniversary.
