Get the party started with Razor B


Ready to deliver what is poised to be one of the hottest party songs on the circuit, reggae-dancehall artiste, Razor B, is brimming with excitement.

The uptempo single entitled We Party has found favour with fans in Jamaica and North America, with the video securing high rankings on various charts.

We Party is Razor B's way of celebrating his return to the music scene after a self-imposed hiatus.

"I called timeout on music because of family obligations, which meant spending quality time with those dearest to me and also consolidating my business interests," explained the artiste, who is also a professional caterer and chef.

Razor B admitted that he toyed with the idea of giving up music permanently, but "the deep passion in my soul would not allow that". Therefore, having set his house in order and brought all his entities under one solid brand, OG Entertainment, the artiste is again wholly focused on his musical aspirations.

Noting that he has attained another level of musical maturity, the fun-loving Razor B has changed locations from Canada to Jamaica for the month of December and has been touring the clubs and open-air venues. He has been busy getting partygoers into the groove with the infectious new track, We Party.



The pulsating energy of the single has the dancing community raving, and the video has locked television, striding to number one on the popular Pree Dis chart, number five on Hype TV, and enjoying high rotation on RE TV and CVM Plus.

"The response to We Party has been awesome, and I am truly humbled," said Razor, adding that even the schoolchildren have already caught the We Party fever as evidenced by their enthusiastic response at the latest Digicel-sponsored selectors play-off for high schools.

In addition to making his musical rounds, the altruistic Razor B will again swing into the festive mood by launching an online Christmas competition. One special person will win a huge basket full of groceries, along with branded items courtesy of Razor B. Through his Canadian-Jamaican foundation, Show Us The Way, Razor B will host a children's treat in his community of Waterford, St Catherine, for the fourth consecutive year.

Razor B, whose real name is Roger Cassup, is a multi-talented entrepreneur, producer, songwriter, promoter, and dub-poet. He is best known for songs such as Believe, which features dancehall artiste Spice; Watch Ya, a song that focuses on the disadvantaged; and Hot Girls To The Ring, a ladies anthem.
