Freddie McGregor pulls out of Jamaica Jazz and Blues festival, saying Jamaican Artists are being asked to play "Underdog Roles".


He said Jamaican artists are not being promoted on the festival and Financially they are not being paid in line with the international artists.

He said this year 2012 is Jamaica's 50th Anniversary and its time for the Jamaican artists to stand up for what they want,

The CEO of Big Ship Productions was speaking with Irie FM's Music News, He also said that this is a personal decision for not performing at the annual event. a
