Do You Think Artists Should Do Dubplates for Politicians/Parties?

I recently received a video clip of a mass meeting of one of Jamaica's political party, in the clip you could hear the voice of one of Dancehall top artiste hailing the leader of the party dubplate style, UP LIKE SEVEN.

Popular DJ/Producer Foota Hype made it clear that he is a supporter of The People's National Party.

My view on artiste doing dubplates for politicians/parties is that in the long run it can have an effect on their career here in Jamaica, Not Internationally.

Jamaica politics is like this: I support who support me, so lets say an artiste do a dubplate for the PNP and the JLP wins the election. That artiste might never ever get to perform for anyone who is connected to the JLP.

Just my few little words on this issue. What do you think?
