Dionne Warwick released reggae version of Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head

American legendary singer Dionne Warwick is the latest act to release a Reggae track. this was facilitated by Jamaican famed rhythm duo Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare. The team has just completed a reggae version of Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head with the Grammy-winning singer.

According to Dunbar the track was produced by Warwick's son Damon Elliott, and was recorded in LA. Elliott is known for his work with big pop acts like Pink.

Sly---Robbie-1Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head was originally recorded by singer B J Thomas in 1969. Co-written by Hal David and Burt Bacharach, it was used in the 1969 hit movie Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.

Warwick last performed in Jamaica earlier this year at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival.
