Posh is from the community of Vineyard Town in Kingston, Jamaica.

The artiste who is now 22 in (2011) started out singing on the choirs of her church and high school. Her first major step into the music business was when she entered the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission competitions.

Posh said that getting recognization in the dancehall and reggae music industry is very hard due to the stigma attached to female artistes.

She said that she is now ready for the business and with this she is busy promoting her two latest singles they are "Tell Unnu Already" and "Make It" both of which are on Push A Yute Producion Warrior Riddim.

She has also shot the video for "Tell Unnu Already". The video was done by Asher and his daughter Romona, it was shot on locations in Waterhouse and Downtown Kingston, Jamaica.

When asked about her journey in the music business, this is what she had to say "I must say it is not a perfect journey, but it's a part of life because there will always be speed bumps, but I'm a really powerful individual who's hungry for success."
