Dancehall reggae artiste Munga Honourable

Dancehall reggae artiste Munga Honourable born Damian Rhoden in Islington, St. Mary, Jamaica.

He is also known as the "The Gangsta Ras" and "Wanted Man". Munga started out in the music business when he entered the Red Label Wine Superstar Competition in 1997 with his original song "Who Drink Out The Red Label Wine".

Munga developed his versatile style as a prodigy of dancehall artiste the 'fireman' Capleton who is also the owner of David House record Label.

He started touring with Capleton in 2001 as the opening act. In an interview Munga Honourable said "The Prophet has been the best teacher I could possible have. He taught me about presentation, which is your image to the people, and the delivery of your sound and vocals."

2005 was the big year for Munga, after teaming up top producer Don Corleon, his career took off. spitting out hits such as "Bad Like I", "Flippin Rhymez", "In My Arms", "Earthquate", "Bad From Me Born among many others.

Known for his signature sound 'Yes! Yes!' Munga makes his presence felt with every song, whether it is a gangsta vibe or a conscious feel.

Munga Honourable gives respect and love to the music fraternity, especially those who made serious impact on the success of his music career. Capleton, Sizzla, Tiger, Lalumba & Ninja Man also hailing from St Mary. Also Peter Tosh and The Gong, Pac, Jigga, B.I.G. & U.G.K. Selah.
