Dancehall artiste Tifa goes 'Out Of This World' with Markus Records


Markus Records has scored an out-of-the-box hit, thanks to Tifa's contribution titled 'Out Of This World'. The project is the debut collaboration between Tifa and Markus Myrie.


"The collaboration with Markus has been two years in the making, so technically, it's my first time working with him," Tifa said in a media release.

Out Of This World is featured on the Sex Mate rhythm. Other artistes featured on the project include Mavado, Denyque and I Octane.

"Markus had already done the artwork and named the project. When I was told what was the vibe of the rest of the songs and what the theme was, I basically just let my imagination run in keeping with the theme," said Tifa.

Out Of This World, along with the other songs on the project, premiered last week on FM Radio to critical acclaim.

Tifa has been making major moves on the latest edition of the RJR Cross Country Invasion which kicked off a few weeks ago. The parish tour has been making stops across the island.

Apart from performing her growing catalogue of hits, Tifa has been promoting her latest singles, Bak It Up and the romantic This Love, which features newcomer Yahsha.

Videos for Bak it Up, This Love and Out Of This World are in the planning stages.

Fans can catch a glimpse of Tifa on a mural depicting the Digicel brand ambassadors, including I Octane, in the departure area of the Norman Manley International airport. The mural was erected last week.
