Dancehall Artist Mad Bwoy Kicks off mixtape Launch with hot new single 'Summer Gone' feat. Boston 94.5 Jamn DJ4eign

Six months after dropping Paradise Rock, Boston based dancehall artist Mad Bwoy of Kush Muzic Group has continued working and released the long awaited single ‘Summer Gone’ featuring Boston’s Jamn DJ4EIGN. The song ‘Summer Gone’ recorded at SureFire studios in Lowell, Massachusetts is off his upcoming mix tape ‘Pushing the Envelope’ slated for release early 2014.

Mad Bwoy, originally from Kingston, Jamaica, has taken his music production to the next level and collaborated with the production company Anashe Media Group linking with producer Brian Soko based out of Los Angeles, California who created the ‘Summer Gone’ beat. The Anashe Media Group producer Brian Soko is known for his collaborations on Lil Wayne’s ‘No Worries’, Birdman featuring Kendrick Lamar ‘100 Favors’ and Tyga featuring Future ‘Show You’.

Mad Bwoy shared, “I am excited about this collaboration, it was my first time working with DJ4EIGN who took the track to a whole new level with his vocals and finally getting the chance to work on a beat by star producer Brian Soko added a whole new dimension to my mix tape, I know this track will fire up the islands.”

The visuals to ‘Summer Gone’ were filmed two weeks ago in the Boston area by director Arnold Soko of Anashe Media Group and Sev of Sev One Media. This creative combination proved electric as the storyline to the video complements the song and will no doubt make waves with dancehall music fans around the world.

2014 is set to be a busy year for Mad Bwoy as he has been booked for shows in Boston, Massachusetts; New York City; Kingston, Jamaica; Hilo, Hawaii and Atlanta, Georgia.Mad Bwoy added, “I am grateful to my fans for continuing to support my musical journey, 2013 was a great year and with the new partnerships I have established I am excited to break into European and African markets in 2014.”
