Dance hall and Reggae duo ITHERMOL and CHOICE

by oral johnson
(st. james)

Listening to their style, their consistency and professionalism, one soon realizes that this duo of Ithermol and choice have not launched into the music for the financial or egotistical reasons. they are serious about their music and are now in hot pursuit of proper management and marketing as they reach for the sky.

Ithermol (i-ter-mal) (christened oral Johnson) prefers the deejay art form, while choice (christened Anthony Wilson) seems to be entertained a dream career similar to Beres Hammond. many people cite that he sounds like the singer da'ville, but it is Beres who has been his greatest source of inspiration. On the other hand, Ithermol fans think that he sounds like Spragga Benz, but it is Sizzla who he is trying to emulate.

Both entertainers hail from the parish of St. Mary. However, they sojourned to providence heights in St. James in 2004 for contrasting reasons.
Ithermol's moniker came about because of his tendency to sweat profusely, while working in the studio hence given the nickname thermal, Later on, a (I) was place before the thermal = (I)thermal and later (o) was replace the (a) itherm(o)l = making the spelling "ITHERMOL".
Choice used to be called "twins" but another artiste nickname "ice" thought that "choice" was a better fit.

So far, the duo has recorded few singles .1st.("my sweet mama"), on the treasure house label which is owned by a popular Montego Bay producer shy-bee. Their second effort is a single called "just fi di money" on the massacre rhythm, which also showcases blockbuster artiste such as Beenie Man, I- octane, Sizzla, Konshens and the war lord Bounty Killer-to name a few. They went on and voiced a wonderful reggae song title, "she knows", this song was produced by patrick williams o/c (dj pumpy) c/o more fm and linkz fm. Their latest track is title ''DIFFRENT'', which is getting a lot of rotation in the western side of the island of jamaica, its done on the party vybz riddim and produced by burn out record out of montego bay st. James, flanker.
