Damian Marley "Bob Marley Youngest Son"
Damian Marley aka Junior Gong was born on July 21, 1978 in Kingston Jamaica.
He is the youngest son of reggae legend Bob Marley. His mother is Miss World 1976, Cindy Breakspear.
Marley has 12 siblings, 10 on his father's side and 2 on his mother's side. He was only 2 years old when his fatherBob Marley died of cancer.
Damian has been performing since the age of thirteen (13). Most of Bob's children are reggae artist, but Gong performsreggae, reggae fusion, dancehall, dub, ragga and hip hop.
To date, (2010) he has releaseD four (4) albums.

For his 2006 album "Welcome to Jamrock", he won 2 Grammys, Best Reggae Album and Best Urban/Alternative Performance.
Presently, he is the only reggae artist to win 2 Grammy Awards on the same night.
The titled single from the album was considered to be the best reggae song of the decade by the New York Times.
Like his father and family members Damian is a devoted
Rastafarian
and carries these beliefs wherever he goes.
