Gregg “Daine Blaze” Legister, born April 15th, 1983 in Kingston 13 has been a fan of music all his life, influenced by artists such as Bob Marley, Bounty Killer, Mavado, Jay Z, Nas, Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac.

Growing up he always knew he would want to pursue a career in the music industry. He developed an even greater love for music as a teenager, at the age of 15 he started to play on Black Magic Sound, which lead to playing on various radio stations.

Daine Blaze discovered the art of writing songs after a few years had passed, he decided to build on this as he saw he had a talent for it with the intentions of writing for an artist or selling great music someday. In 2008, Daine Blaze invested in music equipment and started recording himself, his talent pushed him to newer heights and he discovered his unique sound and worked on improving his vocals, within a year he had set up his own recording studio, recorded other peers and made new sound.

He also formed his own recording label StarTime Family Entertainment. In 2011, Daine Blaze made the decision to take a more serious approach with his career as a recording artist and producer; concentrating on making riddims, producing himself as well as other artists on his S.T.F Entertainment label. After circulating on the underground scene with mix tapes, CD's and promotional singles; by late 2011 Daine Blaze released his first major production entitled FirstCut Riddim; with a compilation of music from artists such as Munga, Gyptian, Fambo, including himself and more.

He is currently working vigorously on his career; both as an artist and a producer with projects in the pipeline for the near future.
