Millbeatz Entertainment is about to divulge one of the most innovative, monumental soca projects conceptualized this Carnival 2014. Classic 60’s Riddim is a music production designed to fuse the legendary and contemporary elements of Soca music in such a way that listeners are subconsciously bonded with their past and present. It’s a movement, it’s a celebration and it’s a way of life. At the epicenter of this musical work of art is David Millien, owner of Millbeatz Entertainment and Daniel “Jabulani” Payison as the Riddim producers alongside the team’s creative writers Joel “Zan” Feveck and Dike “Dnyce” Pereira.
Classic 60’s Riddim unites some of the most renowned artists of Soca Music with breakthrough and upcoming talents that exists in this modern day Soca arena. As we pay homage to the pioneers of Soca Music the recreation of calypso-type sound and lyrical content will transcend pure nostalgia to the listening audience. Pioneers like Lord Nelson sing alongside Shurwayne Winchester. Also on board to help solidify our theme and bring this project to fruition are the pairs of Ronnie McIntosh and Joel “Zan” Feveck; Anslem Douglas and Shivonne “Lil Bitts” Churche as well as Iwer George and Olatunji Yearwood
