Chris Martin & Cecile Welcomes New Born Baby Girl

Red hot reggae crooner Christopher Martin and singer Cecile Charlton on Tuesday welcomed their new born into the world.


Cecile and Martin who have been an item for sometime now, herald in a bouncing baby girl into their family. The birthplace and name of the child is still unknown.

However, despite minimal information the couple have been receiving a bevy of congratulatory notes from the wider Jamaican music fraternity.

Cecile, during her pregnancy was noticeably absent from a number of major concerts over the summer including the very popular Reggae Sumfest.

Meanwhile, Christopher Martin ten years her junior is a former Digicel Rising Star winner and is best known for the singles 'Cheaters Prayer', 'Paper Loving' and 'Chill Spot', all of which have soared to the top of several charts across the diaspora.

Earlier this year, the rumour mill went into overdrive with an unsubstantiated gossip that Ce’Cile was pregnant with twins. However weeks later Ce’Cile did an interview hastily rubbishing those claims.
