In Respect For Reggae Dancehall Artist Banana Man
by: Pecos Sound

Very nice respect article for Banana Man. He did have his own nice style vocals. Mostly he seemed to record in that 1990's early 2000's reggae dancehall scene. The comment on the Dub Plate cuts from Roof International those would be some solid dance tunes for a sound clash or juggling. Banana Man cut a tune in Pecos Sound collection Diplomat Brushy One String / Banana Man Worship Diamond & Pearl on the label Roof International sort 1990's style. Very nice vocals music from Banana Man may Jah Bless The Youth.

The late Bananaman (passed away in 2002) hasn't been a high prolific artist. His album "Showers Of Blessings" was released by the Finnish "Black Star Records" from the late Tero Kaski. Most of the times Bananaman lived in Ocho Rios, a small town situated at the north coast area of Jamaica. You could often find him voicing dubplate specials at the "Roof International Dub Cutting Studio", thus trying to earn some money. 2003 Reggae Vibes Productions
