Bajan Dancehall or should we say Barbados reggae music. Barbados is mostly known for its soca music but like most of our English speaking Caribbean Islands, Barbadians are lovers of Jamaica's unique music.

Recently, some of Jamaica's top dancehall and reggae artiste has been banned from performing in this country. Artist such as Mavado and Vybz Kartel were denied entry.

The Minister who is responsible for entertainment said "Even though we share the same Caribbean space, It does not meanwe have to welcome everybody. Vybz Kartel and Mavado can stay in Jamaica".

One of Bajan top artiste is Rupee, he has done collaboration with some of Jamaica's top dancehall and reggae artists. One of Barbados most young talent is Red Star Lion. He is currently creating a buzz with is latest single "Watching Me".
