"You Are Me"

Alaine Laughton - Songwriter, reggae singer and Actor was born on September 21, 1978 in New Jersey USA.

At the Age of three (3) she moved to Jamaica, but later moved back to USA. She is known and loved for her sweet voice and a smile that can brighten anyone's day.

Musical Career
She started writing and singing from an early age. This led to her securing roles in commercials on local television and radio jingles.

By the age of nine (9) she was a household name, television program host and a red cross ambassador.

After returning to Jamaica in 2004 she started working with DASECA Records. But her first hit single "No Ordinary Love" was done with Don Carleon Records on the Season riddim. This was a chart topper in Jamaica, UK and Europe.

She has since recorded and released two albums, "Sacrifice" in 2008 and "Luv A Dub" in August 2009.

Her latest work is "You are Me" released on her own label. This is currently receiving rave reviews and heavy rotation on radio stations locally and abroad.

She have also released "Secret Lovers" a collaboration with Chino, which is creating a lot of stir in the music industry.

This hard working artist has already toured most of the Caribbean and USA. She is schedule to tour Europe late this year (2010).

Acting Career
In 1998 she play a role in Whoopi Goldberg Movie "Clara's Heart".

She is the perfect combination of beauty and Talent.
